Celebrating Academic Excellence

NSBE’s Academic Pyramid of Excellence (APEx) program recognizes members for outstanding academic achievement on the chapter, regional and national levels. The Pyramid consists of honorees on three levels, based on cumulative grade point averages:

• Honors (3.6+ GPA)

• Torchbearer (3.2–3.59 GPA)

• Excel (3.0–3.19 GPA)

Candidates for the NSBE Academic Pyramid of Excellence must submit official transcripts or GPA verification forms.

Benefits to NSBE APEx Honorees include:

• Recognition with AEx ribbons at the Fall Regional Conferences and the Annual Convention

• Discounted registration rates for the Fall Regional Conferences and Annual Convention

• Publication of their names in the Fall Regional Conference program booklet and the Annual Convention issue of NSBE Magazine

• A reception in their honor at the Annual Convention

• Recognition with certificates and pins at General Sessions

• Acknowledgement during the NSBE Golden Torch Awards ceremony
