 NSBE’s Golden Torch Awards Recognize

Professional, Academic, Community Service Achievement

ALEXANDRIA, Va.-The NSBE Golden Torch Awards, now in their 13th year, recognize organizations and individuals who exemplify NSBE’s ideals of academic excellence, professional success and dedication to improvement of the black community. The NSBE Golden Torch Awards also link the accomplishments of the award winners with the dreams of college-bound students. Since their inception, these awards have provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to talented high school seniors. This year’s Golden Torch honorees will receive their awards at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Saturday, April 3, 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., during the climactic closing event of NSBE’s 36th Annual Convention.

A list of the 2010 NSBE Golden Torch Award recipients follows. For more information about NSBE, the Golden Torch Awards or NSBE’s 36th Annual Convention, contact NSBE World Headquarters at (703) 549-2207.
