We provide a variety of programs in the following core areas to support all demographics impacted by the Society: Academic Excellence; Technical Excellence; Leadership Development; Community Impact; Pre-College Initiative and Chapter Development

Scholarships, research opportunities, community activities and academic support are among the wide array of resources available to NSBE members through our various programs. Tutoring Support: We know proud to offer tutorial services to our NSBE Membership. We know offer services through Socratic Learning, Inc. for our High School Senior NSBE Jr. Members and Freshmen and Sophomore Collegiate Members. This is a great value for our NSBE Membership to receive the help and tutoring that is needed to succeed in high school and college courses, as well as increasing their marketable skills for technical professionals.

We are proud to introduce our "Signature Programs" for 2007-2008, which are specific programs that fall up under each National Directive that every membership demographic, PCI to Alumni and International members, can partake in. These programs do not replace our staple programs but they are highlighted initiatives which are our call to action.

NSBE has a wide range of programs for collegiate students. If you are interested in improving your grades; research programs and internships; scholarships or personal growth through leadership and personal development education, NSBE has a program for you.	The Pre-College Initiative (PCI) Program is the National Society of Black Engineers' effort to encourage students in grade 3-12 to develop interest and skills in math and science. Graduate school is challenging. NSBE provides its graduate student members with access to resources to meet the challenge! Workshops, entrance exam programs and research opportunities are among the programs available to graduate students members.	Impacting the community is a pillar of the NSBE mission. With chapters around the world, opportunities to make a positive difference in communities across the globe are only an interest away. The Technical Outreach Community Help Program (T.O.R.C.H.) is leading the way to closing the digital divide.	NSBE offers several corporate scholarships to students each year.
